MGM Resorts International and BetMGM have renewed their respective partnerships with Major League Baseball under new multi-year agreements, the companies announced Tuesday. The renewal extends a relationship dating to 2018, when MGM Resorts and BetMGM became MLB’s first Official Gaming and Sports Betting Partners.

Under the terms, MGM Resorts continues as MLB’s exclusive Integrated Resort & Casino Partner, a category in which it holds league-wide marketing and promotional rights across its destinations. The deal includes continued development of MLB Awards Week in Las Vegas and other league-sanctioned events.

BetMGM will maintain its marketing presence across MLB Network, MLB.com and the league’s digital platforms in the US and Canada, along with sponsorship integration within MLB content distributed on Apple TV. The operator will also continue producing co-branded MLB-themed titles on BetMGM Casino, its online casino platform.

Lance Evans, senior vice president of sports and sponsorships at MGM Resorts International, said the renewal aligns with the company’s long-term strategy for sports and entertainment. Matt Prevost, chief revenue officer at BetMGM, described MLB as one of the most data-rich properties in sports and pointed to the league’s data volume as central to the operator’s wagering products.

Uzma Rawn Dowler, MLB’s chief marketing officer and senior vice president of global corporate partnerships, said MGM Resorts and BetMGM have been close partners to the league for nearly a decade and that the renewal would support new fan-facing initiatives.

The agreement also keeps GameSense, a responsible gambling program developed by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation, integrated within BetMGM’s mobile and desktop platforms. BetMGM separately maintains an anti-athlete harassment policy intended to support sports integrity standards.

Beyond the league-level agreement, MGM Resorts and BetMGM continue to hold individual partnerships with several MLB clubs, including the Boston Red Sox, Cincinnati Reds, Detroit Tigers, Houston Astros, Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies, Pittsburgh Pirates and Washington Nationals.

BetMGM is a 50/50 joint venture between MGM Resorts and Entain. MLB’s other gaming partnerships include an integrated relationship with FanDuel.
